Squires Exquisites was opened as a studio shop in March 2016. It was created out of my love for shabby chic furniture, which I handpaint, decoupage, stencil and distress, using Annie Sloan products. Prior to that I had been happily painting furniture in my garage, mainly for my own home, family and friends. I also sold a few pieces on line and thoroughly enjoyed re-creating preloved items. But what I really wanted to do was to display my pieces and be surrounded by it. I thought it was important for customers to view my work in person, in a pleasant setting full of lots of other lovely things to look at.

     Although my business is primarily about furniture, having a shop enables me to indulge my other passions for vintage and retro items which I also sell. This includes kitchenalia, pictures, collectables, homeware, designer silk scarves and jewellery. Why not visit Squires Exquisites and turn the past into a present!

     Another large part of my business is my painting service where I offer commissions that are undertaken in the shop. Bring in your tired and uninspiring furniture for a style revamp. I will complete the piece to your exact requirements or design the makeover myself if you would prefer.
